The end of the Summer semester is rapidly approaching. (that syllabus always looks so long at the beginning of the semester!) In 3D class, we are on our final project. The first and last of our projects that we don't have a tutorial for, we are on our own for this one. The assignment is for us to create a "lab". Any kind of lab, except for the dog. After about 20 minutes of thinking about it, the best I could come up with was a dentist's office. In my defense, I've got dentist's offices on the brain since I just visited one in the past couple of days. [link] Also, I knew that a dentist's office was likely not high on the list of labs other people had in mind, so I would be doing something original, in that respect at least. And hey, a dentist's office has some neat stuff in it that looks like it will be fun to model, like the chair with all its appendages sticking out of it. So this is what I will be working on in the coming weeks. It's due on the 29th of July. Should be interesting.
